PARKING RULES FOR VISITORS OF MOVIE PARK GERMANY

Welcome to Movie Park Germany! The entire world of great films is available to you for an unforgettable day. Here you can experience the unique flair of Hollywood together with friends and family. This means discovering, marveling, pure action or simply enjoying.

While enjoying yourself, we kindly ask you not to disregard the usual consideration and caution. Primarily, this means being responsible for oneself and for others and being polite. We also ask you to strictly observe the following rules, which represent our park regulations and which you undertake to comply with when entering Movie Park Germany, in order to rule out discrepancies.

S.1. GUEST RESPONSIBILITY

While we adhere to the regulations set out, we expect and value our guests to exercise good judgement and act responsibly to protect their own health and safety (and those in your care). You must act responsibly not only for your own health and safety, but also for the health and safety of those around you. 

Guests must READ AND COMPLY with all regulations, recommendations and warnings, and make proper use of recreational facilities and equipment and safety equipment provided. Guests who do not  observe this may be expelled from the park without any refund of their admission ticket. Please observe the specific guidelines posted at the entrance of each ride, as well asthe general park rules, which can be found here. 

Every guest in our park undertakes to treat other guests and park personnel in a courteous and considerate manner. Please treat the park facilities, visitors, personnel, flora and fauna with respect. 

WARNING!  Assess your physical and emotional abilities BEFORE you "take it easy". 

Rides and other attractions in the park can provide our guests with wonderful memories and exciting fun! But amusement rides and water rides can also be adrenaline-fuelled activities that place significant demands and strains on your body and senses (e.g. in the neck and back) and your senses through rapid acceleration, speed, sudden and unpredictable movements that can move your body in different directions Increase heart rate and blood pressure. 

DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN A RIDE, ACTIVITY OR ATTRACTION IF YOU ARE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL, DRUGS (WHETHER LEGAL MEDICATION OR ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES), OR OTHER SUBSTANCES THAT MAY INCREASE YOUR CAN IMPAIR YOUR HEALTH, YOUR SENSES, YOUR MENTAL AWARENESS, YOUR REFLEXES AND YOUR COORDINATION. 

DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN ANY RIDES, ACTIVITIES OR ATTRACTIONS IF YOU HAVE OR HAVE ANY MEDICAL CONDITIONS OR PRE-EXISTING Illnesses OR INJURIES OR IF YOU ARE AFRAID TO PARTICIPATE, INCLUDING HEART, NERVES, MUSCLES, BACK, NECK, BONES, JOINTS, SE HENS, LANDAGES, BRAIN, EYES, EARS, NEUROLOGICAL OR OTHER CONDITIONS OR INJURIES, OR IF YOU ARE (OR MAY BE) PREGNANT, OR HAVE HAD SURGERY IN THE LAST MONTHS, OR IF YOU STILL RECOVER FROM ANY ILLNESS, FAILURE, MEDICAL CONDITION , TREATMENT OR PROCEDURE. ONLY YOU CAN DETERMINE WHETHER YOU ARE PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY HEALTHY TO PARTICIPATE SAFELY IN A RIDE OR OTHER ACTIVITY AND CHECK THAT YOU COMPLY WITH THE HEIGHT, WEIGHT AND AGE RESTRICTIONS. THE PARK DOES NOT GUARANTEE YOUR HEALTH - YOU NEED TO DECIDE WHETHER YOU ARE SUITABLE FOR A RIDE OR ACTIVITY.  

REMEMBER THAT YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE ALL RISKS OF ANY ACTIVITY YOU PARTICIPATE WANT TO PARTICIPATE. 

 

 

 1. PARKING

The rules and signs of the Road Traffic Act (StVO) apply to our car parks.

 In order to ensure trouble-free traffic in this area, the instructions of our law enforcement officers in the car parks must be strictly observed. Please park your vehicle only within the designated parking areas. If you park your vehicle outside and in so doing obstruct traffic, we will have to have this vehicle towed away at your risk and expense.

Parking spaces marked as disabled accessible parking spaces may only be used by the group of persons entitled to do so, using the corresponding badges (disabled sign on the vehicle). Vehicles parked illegally in disabled parking spaces may be towed away even if an entitled person to the space is not actually prevented from parking. The costs of the towing service are to be reimbursed by the vehicle driver.

The parking fee is charged for the parking space provided (car park), but not for guarding the vehicle. Therefore, when leaving your car, please make sure that you have closed the doors, boot, windows and sunroof and do not leave any objects visible in the car.

 We cannot provide compensation for damage caused by extraordinary events such as storms, hail, explosions and fire and in the event of theft or damage to your vehicle by others. This does not apply if the damage was caused by gross negligence or intent by Movie Park Germany employees. Any damage must be reported in the case of obvious damage before leaving the car park; if in doubt, contact the security service at the staff entrance.

 For security reasons, the car parks are under video surveillance. Recordings are made in compliance with the regulations of the German Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO).  2. ENTRY RATES AND ENTRY CONDITIONS

 The premises of Movie Park Germany may only be entered with valid admission tickets at the designated entrances for visitors. The tickets must be kept during the stay and presented upon request. Minors who have not reached the age of 14 are not permitted to enter. The admission ticket for Movie Park Germany grants the right to use all operating attractions of Movie Park Germany as often as desired and free of charge during the park opening hours and within the scope of the respective regulations for the use of the attractions. Coin operated attractions, games of skill, as well as those attractions that usually have to be paid for separately, such as the bungee jump, the interactive shooter Secrets of St. Elmo or the horror houses during our Halloween Horror Festival, are excluded from the free admission. The authorisation expires on leaving our premises. Re-entry on the same day is only possible with a valid stamp on the hand. Individuals under the influence of alcohol or narcotics may be refused entry to the park grounds.

 If individual attractions cannot be used or do not take place due to maintenance or repair work or due to force majeure (e.g. strong wind, obstructed view, thunderstorms), the visitor is not entitled to a pro rata or full refund of the admission price. This also applies in the event that new attractions have not yet been completed or individual attractions have to be rebuilt.

 

 3. GENERAL SAFETY REGULATIONS

  •  Other pets are not permitted. Please do not leave any animals in the vehicle!
  • The use of our rides requires sturdy shoes and sturdy clothing, as some attractions are water-powered (see point 6. Limitations of Liability). Outerwear and footwear must be worn in the park area. Smoking is not permitted in the buildings and under no circumstances on the rides. This also applies in the queuing areas and restaurants as well as other areas in the park. Fire regulations in the park area must be strictly observed. The kindling of fire and the lighting of fireworks or similar, and barbecuing are prohibited on the entire site.
  • Visitors may only use the paths provided for them and their toilet only in the marked sanitary facilities.
  • The possession and carrying of weapons or dangerous objects (pistols, knives, chains, brass knuckles, fireworks, laser pointers, etc.) are prohibited on the premises of the Parks is not permitted, nor is it permitted to carry, use or take along any racist, xenophobic, anti-constitutional, discriminatory or violence-glorifying objects of any kind.
  • The regulations of the park staff, especially when using the individual rides, must always be followed in your own interest.
  •  For their own safety and the safety of the unborn suggested to a child not to use the rides.
  • The willful noise and operation of music devices, horns, megaphones, etc.  are prohibited.
  • Bringing alcoholic beverages is not permitted. Obviously intoxicated individuals or individuals under the influence of drugs are excluded from using the rides and may be expelled from the park premises without reimbursement. In this respect, Movie Park Germany claims the domiciliary rights (see point 12). For reasons
  • of safety for all guests, the use of skateboards, inline skates and scooters of any kind brought along is not permitted on the park premises. It is also not permitted to bring bulky and particularly large objects, such as large suitcases, or to bring and operate drones.

For security reasons, areas of our park grounds and some of our attractions are under video surveillance. The individual attractions are marked as such before entering the facility. Recordings are made in compliance with the regulations of the German Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO). Every guest who wants to enter Movie-Park Germany voluntarily and expressly agrees to a possible check by the security service in their own security interest of the park to. The purpose of these checks is to determine whether individuals pose a danger to themselves or others due to carrying prohibited or dangerous objects or due to the consumption of alcohol or narcotic substances. This consent includes the search of clothing and any receptacles carried.

 

4. USE OF FACILITIES AND ATTRACTIONS IN THE PARK

 The facilities in operation at Movie Park Germany are available to you within the framework of the respective usage regulations. These specific rules of use and safety regulations, which are displayed at the individual facilities by means of special notices in text or pictures, etc., must be read and observed at all times by all users before using the respective facility. Additionally, the special instructions of the operating personnel must always be observed.

Some rides are subject to special regulations regarding the necessary size, age and physical condition of the user. These rules were provided to us by the authorities and the TÜV and also apply in particular to guests with disabilities. Please note that all  guests, even if they satisfy these basic requirements, nevertheless  must still decide for themselves whether the attraction is suitable for them personally. The operating personnel are authorised to exclude individual persons (e.g. due to size, physique or physical or mental limitations) from the use of individual facilities for the protection of their health and for their own safety without compensation. Exclusion for safety reasons does not in any way constitute discrimination, but is merely for your own safety.

 In order not to disadvantage waiting guests, the attractions must be left after each use and re-entered from the entrance.

 Should you knowingly disregard the instructions for use and operating instructions, or the instructions of the operating personnel, the operating personnel may exclude you from using the attractions without this giving rise to any claim for compensation on your part. This also applies if you attempt to "jump the queue".

 You are liable for all damage caused by disregarding the usage regulations or by culpable (intentional or negligent) damage within the scope of the statutory provisions.

 

 5. SUPERVISORY DUTY

 We remind all parents and accompanying individuals of groups to fulfil their supervisory duty diligently, as we cannot release you from this duty. If the supervisory duty is breached, supervisors and parents carry full responsibility for the damage caused by this in accordance with legal provisions.

 

6. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

We are only liable for damage caused by culpable breach of a material contractual obligation or attributable to intent or gross negligence on the part of Movie Park Germany's legal representatives or agents. Where there is a breach of an essential contractual obligation, without there being gross negligence or intent, we are not liable for unforeseeable and untypical damage.

 We accept no liability for the following situations or damage:

  •  When using some of our rides, you may get soaked and/or items you are carrying may be damaged. For this reason, we ask you not to bring any items that could suffer water damage or other damage (e.g.: cameras, video cameras, etc.). Items of clothing that become unusable or damaged due to the effects of water are not eligible for replacement, nor are cameras, video cameras, etc.
  • Für For items deposited for safekeeping in park lockers.We accept no liability for lost items, in particular also items lost
  • or damaged while using a ride. It is not possible to stop or turn off rides for recovery.
  • For items left on rides. 

Our liability for injury of life, body or health remains unaffected by the limitations of liability mentioned in this section 6.

  

7. DAMAGE REPORTS

 All facilities in the park are carefully maintained and monitored. If you suffer damage through no fault of your own (this includes property damage, personal injury and other damage), please report the damage to a member of the security team, the guest information office or our first aid station where personal injury is involved, before leaving the park premises. Also report if there is reason to believe that an incident may result in damage at a later date.

 A claim for damages is excluded where a damage report that was already possible and reasonable before leaving the park is only made after leaving the park premises.

 

8. ADVERTISING AND OFFERING GOODS AND SERVICES

Advertising on the grounds and car parks of the park, as well as on the areas in front of the entrances, as well as offering goods and services, are only permitted with prior written permission from the management of Movie Park Germany. This also applies to conducting opinion polls and censuses.

   

9. THEFT

Any theft in the park will be reported to the police by the park personnel or the security team.

 

10. FILMING AND PHOTOGRAPHY

The filming for private purposes at Movie Park Germany is permitted within the framework of the German Art Copyright Act (KunstUrhG) and may therefore require the consent of the person depicted. The distribution of photo and film material or the use of ideas and show sequences for commercial purposes requires the prior written consent of the management of Movie Park Germany. For safety reasons, the use of film and video cameras, including GoPros, is not permitted during the use of the rides. This also applies to mobile phones and smartphones with camera function as well as comparable devices.

 At Movie Park Germany, film and photo recordings or webcam transmissions are occasionally made by Movie Park Germany or third parties. The areas and attractions will be marked where possible. Please avoid these areas if you do not wish to have any recordings made with you used in public or broadcast on the internet as part of the webcam transmission, or inform the photographer/film team of this. Otherwise, we assume that the use is permitted free of charge.

 11. RESALE OF TICKETS/SEASON PASSES - CONTRACTUAL PENALTY

 To prevent the resale of tickets (also includes: Discount coupons, annual tickets, free tickets and consumption vouchers of any kind) and the misuse of season passes, the purchaser is not permitted:

  • To sell admission tickets at a higher price than that paid by the purchaser himself, this also applies in particular as part of a private transfer;
  • Entrance tickets to be sold commercially or commercially without the express prior written consent of Movie Park Germany;
  • Entrance tickets as part of sweepstakes, travel or hospitality offers  or to use it publicly for advertising or marketing purposes without the prior written consent of Movie Park Germany;
  • offering admission tickets for sale at internet auction houses or on other internet platforms yourself or through third parties;
  • admission tickets without the express to pass on reference to these parking regulations, in particular this section 11., also insofar as a transfer is of this section 11. is not prohibited;
  • passing on season passes to third parties or otherwise culpably enabling their misuse by third parties.

Movie Park Germany is entitled to who pass on and/or offer admission tickets and/or season passes in violation of these provisions to demand a contractual penalty of EUR 100.00 per violation. The number of tickets and/or season passes offered, sold, passed on or used is decisive for the number of violations.

 In the event of a violation of the foregoing prohibitions, the affected tickets and season passes lose their validity and no longer entitle the holder to visit Movie Park Germany. Movie Park Germany also reserves the right to refuse the purchase of tickets in the future to persons who violate the aforementioned resale prohibitions and/or to initiate further civil and/or criminal measures.

 

12. HOUSE RIGHTS

Movie Park Germany reserves the right to expel individuals from the park premises without compensation who violate the park rules or who are found on the park premises without a legal admission ticket and, if necessary, to issue a house ban (also for an indefinite period of time). Anyone who causes a nuisance to other persons, uses the facilities in breach of the respective regulations for use or does not comply with the instructions of the supervisory personnel may be expelled from the park premises. There is no right to a refund of the admission fee, not a partial refund.
