Assistance dogs

We welcome your assistance dog at Tropical Islands.

We have taken a number of measures to ensure the well-being of our guests and their assistance dogs.

We attach great importance to responsible pet ownership. Our guests should be aware that their assistance dogs will be exposed to public areas, noise, heat and humidity. Although it is optional to inform us in advance of the presence of an assistance dog, we encourage our guests to do so. This way we can be better prepared and provide the necessary assistance or accommodation.

The dog must be a specially trained guide dog and visibly labelled with a guide harness to indicate its role. The dog must not be sick, injured or infested with parasites to ensure the safety of the animal and other visitors. While in the Dome, the dog should wear a muzzle as a precaution.

The owners of assistance dogs bear full responsibility for their dogs. The owner must supervise the dog at all times and ensure that its behaviour is appropriate. Urinating or defecating in public areas is strictly prohibited. For reasons of hygiene, guide dogs are not allowed in the pool areas.

We ask our guests who may be afraid of or allergic to dogs to keep an appropriate distance. Our aim is to provide a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all our guests.
