unfortunately, due to the early onset of winter, necessary special repairs to the roof of the Tropical Islands Dome could not be completed in time.

The urgent need to repair massive and unforeseeable storm damage combined with the complexity of a globally unique building construction complicate the situation considerably. Due to the height of 108m alone, special and elaborate working platforms as well as specialists are needed who cannot work in snow and ice because there is a risk of avalanches and ice falls.

All this together, unfortunately, also has an impact on the temperatures in the hall. In unfavorable weather conditions, the temperatures may drop slightly below the usual 26°C. However, this has nothing to do with cost-cutting measures.

We understand that this may have unpleasant effect on the tropical bathing fun and have therefore decided to accommodate you and adjust our prices for day tickets and for overnight stays downwards until end of January. Please see our homepage for the current prices.

Guests who have already booked will be compensated on site upon request.
