Experience a breathtaking atmosphere in the tropics

Experience our magical and mysterious lagoon

The 1,200 square meter lagoon is a particularly magical place and was designed by renowned landscape architect Made Wijaya (Michael White, 1953-2016). The Australian-born designer and artist lived in Bali since 1973, published numerous books on tropical garden design and architecture, and created over 600 gardens around the world. He designed luxury hotel resorts in Mumbai, Sanur, Singapore and Jimbaran. Made Wijaya also designed gardens for global icons such as music legend David Bowie and Oscar-winning director Francis Ford Coppola.

Tropical Islands' lagoon showcases Wijaya's creative talent, visionary radiance and versatility. The lagoon is surrounded by high-quality lodges and accommodation. A sandstone rock formation, modelled on the famous Rock of Gibraltar, juts out of the landscape. Towering palm trees, a Balinese hut and a watchtower (Kulkut) add architectural touches. The 32-degree water features a current channel, underground slides and whirlpools that invite relaxation and tropical water fun. The grotto and the impressive waterfall create a unique mystical atmosphere.

Here you can immerse yourself in a tropical world and enjoy unforgettable moments. In the evening, the magical lighting adds a special touch. The lagoon is an oasis in Tropical Islands' paradise. Let yourself drift in the water and be captivated by the unique holiday feeling. Here, world-class landscape architecture meets recreation as well as one of a water worlds. Here you create memories that last and provide tropical warm vibe even after your stay at Tropical Islands.
